Janet Bourne is a painter working in Staffordshire.  She trained in Fine Art at Staffordshire University, and Central Saint Martins, London.  She became a full time painter in 2004 producing work that hovers between abstraction and representation.  She uses her photography to capture memories of places she has visited, which inspire her work.  Her response is deeply personal and emotional.
